- Age of retirement: The age of retirement and Years of retirement income must total 80 which is about the average life expectancy for Americans. This means that if you want to retire at 55 you must input 25 for years of retirement income. If you want to retire at 60 then you need 20 years of retirement income. If you want to retire at 70 do not input 45 years of retirement income; 70 + 45 does not equal 80.
- Annual household income: $24,960 (this is based on a full time job at $12/hour)
- Expected income increase: 3%
- Investment returns, inflation and Social Security must be unchanged.
- The example below is wrong because the money runs out at age 53. You must have money until you are 80.

- If your numbers do not work, you can click on VIEW REPORT to get ideas on what can be changed.
- When you numbers work, and are REALISTIC, take a screenshot of your results. You do not need to include the chart. DO NOT send this through email. DO NOT attach it to the doc. DO NOT input a link. DO follow the directions.

Why Lexicon Pharma Is Soaring By Chris Lange
September 9, 9:45 am EDT
Shares of Lexicon Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: LXRX) saw a handy gain on Friday after late-stage results came out. The company announced that its pivotal inTandem1 Phase 3 clinical trial of sotagliflozin met its primary endpoint showing a statistically significant reduction in A1C at 24 weeks in patients with type 1 diabetes on a background of optimized insulin.
Two primary safety concerns for patients with type 1 diabetes are severe hypoglycemia and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
In the trial, the statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in A1C for both doses of sotagliflozin was achieved without an increase in severe hypoglycemia, one of the most prevalent serious health challenges in type 1 diabetes, which was seen less frequently in both treatment arms than placebo.
